Kassandra on the Halkidiki Coast
Kassandra is the closest of Halkidiki's peninsulas to Thessaloniki, reached via Nea Moudania on the isthmus. Because Kassandra covers a fairly long stretch of coast, journey times from Thessaloniki Airport vary depending on which part of the peninsula you're travelling to — villages nearer the isthmus are reached sooner than those further south.
